Registration for 2011-2012 |
ART PLAY is located at 524 Allen Ave., Portland in the Allen Avenue Unitarian Universalist Church. We will be offering the following programs in September 2011:
- THREE-YEAR-OLD PROGRAM – meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30 – 11:30.
- FOUR-YEAR-OLD PROGRAMS – morning class meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 8:30 – 11:30; afternoon class meets Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 12:15 – 2:45.
ART PLAY offers an enriching program for preschool children. Our program includes extensive open ended art experiences, block play, dramatic play opportunities, and small and large motor activities. We feel that each child is unique and develops his/her abilities when he/she feels comfortable in the environment. It is very important for children to have opportunities to choose their activities at school and socialize with the other children. It is also important for children to participate in structured activities that are developmentally appropriate. We feel that a positive preschool experience clearly impacts a child’s adaptation to later school experiences. ART PLAY provides a positive, supportive environment that is conducive to a child’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development.
TUITION: The annual tuition for the Tuesday – Thursday program is $1,890.00. It is payable in nine monthly payments of $210.00. The annual tuition for the Monday, Wednesday, and Friday program is $2,790.00. It is payable in nine monthly payments of $310.00. Our afternoon program has an annual tuition of $2,340.00. It is payable in nine monthly payments of $260.00. Payments are due at the beginning of each month one month in advance (the first payment is due on August 1, 2010).There will be no payment in May. We begin school in September and end the last week in May. We provide a sibling discount of 10% for the second child in the family. Scholarship information is available from Sharon.
ENROLLMENT: The attached registration form (PDF) must be completed and delivered to school or mailed with a $75.00 non-refundable registration fee (in March all children will receive a free ART PLAY t-shirt) to:

A completed registration form (PDF) and registration fee will assure your child of a space in our program. We also NEED a copy of your child’s immunization records by September. If you register your child in our program and for some reason you are unable to participate, please notify me as soon as possible. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
